چکیده

The role of partially fluorinated carbon (CFx) supported platinum nanoparticles as proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) electrodes in a hydrogen is investigated. CFx employed catalyst support via impregnation for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) at various loadings to determine the optimal loading ORR and compared widely used (non-fluorinated) Vulcan Carbon (XC-72R). In half-cell testing, catalysts display greater kinetics lower Pt while XC-72R higher loadings. PEMFC tests utilizing 30% wt-platinum on supports cathode material reveal 20% increase performance an 11% decrease charge transfer resistance that catalysts. PEMFCs 10% anode power density catalyst. Furthermore, both 15%

Dynamic investigation of hydrocarbon proton exchange membrane Fuel Cell

Sulfonated polyether ether ketone (SPEEK) is categorized in a nonfluorinated aromatic hydrocarbon proton exchange membrane (PEM) group and considered as a suitable substitute for common per-fluorinated membranes, such as Nafion, due to wider operating temperature, less feed gas crossover, and lower cost. Since modeling results in a better understanding of a phenomenon, in this study a dynamic o...
